Vauxhall Omega 2.5TD Elite - Auto
Shortly my Vauxhall Omega Elite will sadly be for sale. This Omega is the Elite model (fully loaded with toys) finished in a Pearlescent Polar sea blue paint, which back in its day had a price tag of around £29,000.
It is the much sought after BMW 2.5TD engine, which can return both great power and also great economy if treated with respect. This is coupled together with a silky smooth automatic gearbox which delivers the power effortlessly.
The engine has just been given a service (Oil and Oil Filter, Air filter, Water Pump and a full coolant flush with new long life antifreeze)
It had new brake pads at the front and rear, as well as new brake fluid. The xenon headlights have been machine cleaned and look like they are brand new too. The interior has been cleaned, and the leather upholstery has been treated.
The bodywork is in an average condition, with minor blemishes. There is a little bit of rust starting to appear on the doors. The interior is in a good condition. The leather interior is supple and has no tears or holes in it. It has a Vauxhall Radio Cassette head unit fitted with Remote Steering Wheel controls and a 6 Disc CD Changer in the boot.
Mechanically the Omega is excellent. The BMW engine pulls well, and is quiet inside the cabin. The car achieves around 25+mpg around town, and up to 50mpg on a steady motorway run, which makes it cheap to run. These BMW engines are capable of massive mileages if they are serviced properly, which has currently covered 188k miles.
